Almost two years ago, President Trump signed a defense spending bill authorizing the creation of a “Space Force” as the sixth branch of the United States armed force.
This would mark the first time a new armed service branch has been added since 1947… when the Air Force split from the Army. The move required congressional authorization and funding.
The new branch is expected to develop teams to defend satellites from attacks… along with other space-related missions. It will operate within the US Air Force, similar to how the Marine Corps functions within the Navy. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will be kept separate from this new branch.
The Space Force will also absorb the responsibilities of its predecessor, Space Command, which was established in 1982 under the Air Force. The graduates from the Air Force Academy are expected to begin cross-training into the Space Force.
“Space is a warfighting domain, just like the land, air, and sea. We may even have a space force and develop another one. I was saying it the other day, because we’re doing a tremendous amount of work in space… Maybe we need a new force. We’ll call it the Space Force,'” President Trump said in a press conference.
When Trump was our leader… he always thought of ways to push our country to the next level. That’s what he means when he says he wants to “Make America Great Again.”
However, the dems started ruining everything Trump had built as soon as Biden became president. They created a bill to abolish the Space Force that President Trump established.
A “No Militarization of Space Act” was introduced in Congress. It’s led by Jared Huffman and is co-sponsored by four other dems of the House Representatives:
- Mark Pocan
- Jesús García
- Rashida Tlaib
- Maxine Waters
Their leader, Huffman, points out that President Trump’s Space Force only wastes taxes.
He said in a statement: “The longstanding neutrality of space has fostered a competitive, non-militarized age of exploration every nation and generation has valued since the first days of space travel. But since its creation under the former Trump administration, the Space Force has threatened longstanding peace and flagrantly wasted billions of taxpayer dollars.”
Then he added, “It’s time we turn our attention back to where it belongs: addressing urgent domestic and international priorities like battling COVID-19, climate change, and growing economic inequality. Our mission must be to support the American people, not spend billions on the militarization of space.”
These twisted dems keep insisting that the Space Force is a complete waste of money. However, they never said a word about Biden’s trillion-dollar infrastructure bill… and we all know that it costs a lot more than any project in history.
Now, we’re experiencing inflation because of it… these demo rats never even complained about it once.
The liberals who want to stop President Trump’s Space Force are being biased. They’re just making an excuse to ruin our president’s name…
What our short-sighted Democrats in the House don’t know or fail to realize is that space is very likely going to become “militarized” eventually whether they like it or not. China is already poised to take the initiative to disrupt our ability to use our communications satellites and other vehicles of exploration and possibly those of other nations. This has been predicted by several top military analysts and leaders who have studied China’s military and national aspirations. They realize that we may very well be battling China on several fronts, including space, in the future. So the time to create a US Space Force is probably sooner rather than wait until it is too late.
